Immediately after the cessation of the Second World War people started to think that the world’s ground rules are plain and logical . Both general politics and social relations were counting on the ideas of gain , positive changes , belief in the logical , understanding , technical progress , and the potential to explain any phenomenon from a rational viewpoint . Notwithstanding , starting from the second half of the 60’s, the world has begun to deteriorate and currently , 40 years later , we find ourselves in a transformed kind of existence .
We effortlessly note those innovations which are brought to us by new technology, but we infrequently realize the fact that there are certain concepts standing behind those inventions . The essence of the expected change was at first noticed by those people, who as a rule of thumb lived anteceding their time – writers and authors. Among the many authors whose poems have served for pleasure , there have been several of them who have given the humankind a new vision . They have better than others other authors shaped and voiced new thoughts and have finally created formed a new intellectual and emotional substantiation of the future. They have noticed problems in the mundane of our lives and have shed light onto a number of problems, which were going on without being noted . They have aided us to think of the new challenges , and sent us new aspirations .
These were the authors who have formed the vision of the entire generation, which has live through the times of cardial change; change, which was perceived as disarray at the dawn of the 21 first century. They have attracted our attention to the most burning questions of the previous century; those issues , which the humankind , having gone through the world wars and unprecedented number of deaths, was reluctant to meet . In the end they were voicing the the most topical question “How will we live in the world of future?”

One of the most fascinating feature of their work is that in often they have evoked the audience interest in books and written works. in this case one of the most exciting success stories is that of a famous author Lewis Carroll .
The achievement of Joan Rowling can be named unique as she has become the first writer in the world to earn $1 billion by authoring fairytales. She is today spending a huge part of her profit on charity, battling poverty and illness. The plot of the book was invented while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first decided to publish her book, she has given her 1500 pounds together with a kind piece of advice — to find a permanent job. He was doubtful of the idea that the young author would be able to make a living off of writing. Joann has showed the opposite - having published a number of amazing fairytales, she has motivated the so-called non-reading people get back to reading.
This paper cannot enumerate and more or less exactly list all writers who have made their contribution to the nowadays literature. They have been working and bringing ideas exactly into the heads of the people, and therefore were influencing the future. Thus, as we can see, these authors were not writing for enjoyment only, but they were also playing a significant part in shaping the culture and the perception of a society of the 20th century.
